How to have the staging environment as a subdmonain of the mapped domain?

I use some paid plugins that come with a license that allows the plugin to be used on all subdomains of a domain. May site is live and mapped to a different domain than xxx.wpmudev.host. Now when I reset the staging to sync it with live, I get an error message that my plugin is not licensed, as it is now running under staging.junkers.wpmudev.host. If there was a way to make the staging domain staging.junkers.de I would have no license issues. Any idea how to solve this?

    Hello mbitcon

I am afraid, currently you can’t map a domain to the staging URL. If you need it temporary, then we can map it but it won’t be permanent. Because, when we will push an NGINX update on the server, this will be lost.

But this could be a nice feature indeed. So, I am marking this as a feature request so that other members can share their thoughts on this. I am also sending this to the hosting team so that they can discuss.

    Thanks again,
