How to link header image in Market Press theme

Would love some coding suggestions for child theme for how to link the header image in the simple Market theme.

    Hi Byronmarkets,

That'll require just a bit of code tweaking.

Fortunately, that one's in the header.php file so you can easily make copy the header.php file from the parent theme over to a child theme to make for a rather upgrade-safe edit.

I'll add a few words here in case that sounds confusing. To keep your edits safe from theme updates, you'll want to create a child theme, as detailed in the following page from the online manuals.
    https://premium.wpmudev.org/the-buddypress-manual/what-are-parent-and-child-themes/

With that, you can copy the header.php from the main theme here into your newly created child theme, then edit that header.php as needed.

And for this specific edit, you'll find the relevant line of code on line 60 of that header.php file. You can add a link to that image by add an ahref link, perhaps as follows:
    <a href="domain.com"><img src="<?php echo $simpleheader; ?>" class="header-image" width="<?php echo HEADER_IMAGE_WIDTH; ?>" height="<?php echo HEADER_IMAGE_HEIGHT; ?>" alt="" /></a>

    Hope that helps!
