How to make WordPress gallery NOT clickable?

Hi guys!

I use a WP-gallery on my site-project http://hav2.projectbase.me/jump2site

I want that the images are NOT clickable,

therefor I selected “link to none” in gallery settings,

but images are still clickable.

I read somewhere that is is a common bug that has not yet been fixed in WordPress?

Question: does anyone know how I could make that gallery NOT clickable? Maybe even on a page by page logic ( so that I could leave it clickable on certain pages? )

    Hi there @julius_miribung,

Hope you’re well today and thanks for your question.

Is that the default gallery built into WordPress, the lightbox looks like it might be your theme instead, would it be possible for you to switch to twenty fourteen, if it works as expected there we can take a closer look at your theme.

    Thanks!

    Kind Regards

    Jack.

Ah interesting, I switched to twenty fourteen and everything was fine…

So its not a wp bug

Switched back to my theme – so it has to do with my theme?

I just know that my theme uses the default wp gallery –

I did nothing else than creating a normal wp gallery.

You think this can be fixed?

    Hi there @julius_miribung,

It should be changeable, technically we wouldn’t say fixable as it’s not broken

It’s designed to pop up, which actually looks broke, I presume it should be a lightbox, but it just goes to the image.

Is this by any chance a free theme I could download? Or would it be possible for you to send it to me?

    Thanks!

    Kind Regards

    Jack.
