    Hi there @hi999,

    Hope you're well today and thanks for your question.

    I've never personally used Amazon AWS and with regards to setting up on AWS, I'd advise you to check with their support.

    With regards to our Snapshot plugin, as long as the folder is within your public_html which for you would be your home folder, the plugin will import it without any problems, once you have WordPress installed.

    Thanks!

    Kind Regards
    Jack.

    @hi999,

    Do you actually have WordPress installed in the amazon domain? In order to do the Snapshot migration you first need to install and have WordPress working. This goes for any hosting.

    1. Once you have WordPress setup you can then drop the snapshot archive into the wp-content/uploads/snapshots folder.
    2. Then in wp-admin go to Snapshots > Import and just submit the form. This will scan the upload folder and import the snapshot. This simply loads the archive into the snapshot listing.
    3. Now go to Snapshots > All Snapshots and you will see the archive in the listing. Hover over the title in the first column and click the 'restore' option.
    4. Follow the rest of the instructions.

    Hi there @hi999,

    Hope you're well today and thanks for your question.

    Can you clarify please why you are re-naming the database? I wouldn't recommend renaming unless it is one hundred percent needed.

    With regards to the upload issues, can you let me know your permissions on the wp-content/plugins folder and wp-content/themes and lastly wp-content

    Thank you!

    Kind Regards
    Jack.
