I have a couple of new sites using Directory and Custompress.
On one of these sites I am using woocommerce to list products.
I have added a custom taxonomy (deal_status) to products which is working fine. The taxonomy is displayed on the product page and the main archive page is working - see http://mywest.simplecsr.com/deal-status/active/
I am wondering if there is any way to display all products matching terms in my new taxonomies on pages other than the default archive page for each term?
With the default woocommerce categories shortcodes can be used to feature lists of products - such as [product_category category="appliances"] - Is there any equivalent I could use for custom taxonomies?
It was my intention to add multiple taxonomies and use these to sort the matching products but I am finding the limitations of the default archive page for the new taxonomies to restictive.
(Alternative solutions could be a plugin that generates a shortcode for displaying products by custom taxonomy.)
Can you please suggest any ways to display products by a custom taxonomy term.
