How to stop Premium Plugin redirection to https on multisite

Hi,

Logged in clients have issues accessing "Premium Plugin" link via the Your Account section because it redirects to https and presents an insecure certificate complaint. Please how can the error be removed? I don't want the link redirecting to https for now.

I have domain mapping and pretty plugin also installed.

Many thanks

Hi, I have another observation. "Your account" points to prosite information. However, because I use whmcs, I added the code to point to my client area using mu-plugin; based on information obtained from a thread in the community.
Nevertheless, previously created accounts have the links pointing to the former information available. How can I update Your account links for existing accounts?

    Thanks

    Hello kate,

I'm trying to test this issue with redirect to https (I created new site with new test account, upgraded it to pro level) and there is no redirect when I'm accessing the Premium Plugins from "Your account". Do I missing any step to see this? Please advise.

    Kind regards,
    Kasia

    Hello kate,

I'm testing dashboard of the blog 15 as Super admin - I've clicked Premium Plugins and there is no redirect - but there is no "Your account" link on this site. I've checked this as admin of test subsite, and also as Super admin and in both cases clicking Premium Plugins don't trigger redirect to https.
Can you tell me exact steps to replicate this issue? What browser and system do you use? What account should I use: admin, super admin?

    Kind regards,
    Kasia

hi, to recreate the problem, please use blog 14. reset the password and log in via the mapped domain using the blog's user credentials. Please remember to log out of your account before signing in to the mapped domain. Then attempt to access plugins and extensions via Your account. Does pretty plugin attempt to use https when ssl certificate is available on the server for any of the domains on the multisite (main domain, actual domain, mapped domain etc)?
    Access granted again.
    thanks

    Hello @kate,

I'm terribly terribly sorry - by mistake I changed password for your super admin users instead of the admin of blog 14 :slight_frown:
So you would need to reset it in order to get access back (in any case I wrote down the new password, so access is not lost).

    Kind regards,
    Kasia

    here is it
    -------------
    # BEGIN WordPress
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]

    # add a trailing slash to /wp-admin
    RewriteRule ^wp-admin$ wp-admin/ [R=301,L]

    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -f [OR]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -d
    RewriteRule ^ - [L]
    RewriteRule ^(wp-(content|admin|includes).*) $1 [L]
    RewriteRule ^(.*\.php)$ $1 [L]
    RewriteRule . index.php [L]

    # END WordPress
    ----------------
I observed that the subdomain seems ok. However, when I click on visit site, the admin bar's links point to the https version of the mapped domain. The front site's setting is set to redirect to mapped domain.

    Hi kate

I hope you had a wonderful day.

Thanks for sharing the .htaccess file content and it seems like there is nothing unusual which may redirect users to HTTPS. However, I tried to login in your site with Support Access but it seems like the access is expired. Can you please grant us Support Access once again so that I can make some tests? I had one user having a similar problem but changing scheme for the mapped domain fixed his problem. So can you please check this page for more idea about toggling scheme in domain mapping: https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/domain-mapping/#product-usage

Or I can test it if you grant support access.

    Have a nice day. Cheers!
    Rupok
