    Hi Jens,

Translation files are to the best of my knowledge not available from WPMU DEV as such. However, try searching the forums for contributed files.

You can also translate the plugins yourself

The general answer and directions are found in the Codex

When translating a plugin, I prefer to use the excellent and free PoEdit though there are many other options.

If you use PoEdit, please make sure to go to Files->Settings->Editing and enable the option ‘Generate .mo file on save’

You can translate a plugin called ‘my_plugin‘, in the following way

The original strings from the plugin are in a .po or .pot file in the /languages folder of the plugin.

If you find a .po file then open it in PoEdit.

If you find a .pot file, then open PoEdit and do Files->New catalogue from POT file and pick the .pot file.

Now you see all the strings to be translated.

    Translate each string.

Make sure to save as, say, my_plugin-da_DK.po for Danish.

Now put the resulting two files my_plugin-da_DK.po and into the /languages folder of the plugin.

Assuming your site is in Danish, then the plugin strings will be in Danish.

    Hope this helps

    Greetings jens_bredal_mikkelsen and Mort3n,

    Welcome to WPMU DEV!

@mort3n this is dejavu for you today is it not? … lol

@jens_bredal_mikkelsen It appears once again that Mort3n is spot on with this answer and you will more then likely need to create your own translation as Mort3n has indicated and other then translations of WordPress itself WPMU DEV does not provide translations themselves nor do we have an archive.

The reason being we have no way to check them.

Hopefully you will find it relatively easy to translate to read the way you want with the spot on suggestions Mort3n offered above.

Thank you for being a WPMU DEV Community Member!

    Cheers, Joe
