How to use Membership with this plugin

My goal is to collect additional information when people register for a membership level, such as phone number, business name, facebook page URL, second contact name, second contact email, etc.

The following plugin "Simplr User Registration Form" allows admin to build different/separate registration forms with different custom fields and role. I only need the custom field feature. The role of a paid membership is always subscriber.

Custom fields:

The paid version even has the font end profile page:

My question is: How to use this plugin with the membership plugin? So people can provide additional profile (custom fileds) information during the membership signup process.

    Greetings winning,

My question is: How to use this plugin with the membership plugin?

It can be pretty challenging to support other peoples work, but we do our best here to help you with any WordPress issues at all.

With that said, please post the results / problems you have come across trying to do it yourself so that we have an idea of what we need to do to help or what kind of help we can offer concerning this question.

    Hi Joe,

    The result/problem is:

membership plugin has its own registration/subscription signup form with default fields (username, email, password). How can I add extra entry fields to collect other information from a new membership user, such as phone number, during the membership sign up process?

    Thanks

    Greetings winning,

Thank you so much for the clarification, it is greatly appreciated.

There appears to be a couple ways this can be accomplished.

After looking at the Registration Page itself ( site admin dashboard --> Pages --> Register) and only finding a short code of course the fields could be managed right there but of course using custom fields they would be outside of the short code in which references:
    /wp-content/plugins/membership/membershipincludes/includes/subscription.form.php

Other then this or hard coding subscription.form.php i do not see any other way to accomplish this task.

Therefore I am going to see if I can get the lead developer in here to offer some advice/advise us to how this may be accomplished outside of the ideas I covered above.

    Cheers, Joe

    Greetings winning,

After playing with the new Membership plugin this last week I came across a solution for you.

Have a look at the following file:
    membershipincludes/addons/simple.invitecodes.php

That addon adds a field to the membership registration form and processes it's input. You could take that addon as a starting point and use it to create a new one to add the fields you desire and then process it to add it to the users profile when it's created.

    Cheers, Joe
