    Hiya rpawly,

    Is in this in reference to within a specific plugin or in theme development?

    Within WordPress there's the get_site_url() function which could be used in that way to create a full link.

    A bit more info and we can point ya in the right direction. Thanks! :smiley:

    im going to put this in the email notification from the messaging plugin

    <br />
    $messaging_email_notification_subject = __('[SITE_NAME] New Message'); // SITE_NAME<br />
    $messaging_email_notification_content = __('Dear TO_USER,</p>
    <p>You have receieved a new message from FROM_USER.<br />
    Please check your href="??????????????">Inbox for your Blog</p>
    <p>Thanks,<br />
    SITE_NAME'); // TO_USER, FROM_USER, SITE_NAME, SITE_URL<br />

    Hiya rpawly,

    The Site_Name returns the name of the whole network - not the url so that won't work. Additionally, you can't create hrefs inside the php file the way you're looking to do here.

    All that being said, I see you're wanting to create a link back to the inbox for the email message notification and that sounds like something that'd be pretty cool.

    I'll ask one of the developers to comment on whether that's something that could be added for future revisions, and we'll consider this a feature request, shall we?

    Thanks!
