HTTPS causing image "insert to post" to fail.

I wonder if this isn’t related to the update to the domain mapping plugin? I’ve noticed that when I try to upload an image on this site :

I am seeing this error in the console :

Mixed Content: The page at ‘https://shewinunlimited.coachsites.me/wp-admin/themes.php?page=theme_options’ was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure image ‘http://shewinunlimited.coachsites.me/wp-content/uploads/sites/64/2016/08/shewin_carousel_bg.jpg’. This content should also be served over HTTPS.

Is there something I missed? I’ve basically just gone to the media library and added it. This was not an issue previously.

And yes support access is on.

    Hello Kat,

    Hope you are well today!

I just updated the Domain Mapping plugin but not getting any issue with images on my own site. The main domain is on HTTPS and subdomain/subsite is over HTTP. I uploaded images via media and inserted into post but no issue at all.

Do you have Wildcard SSL certificate to cover subdomains too ? Or your subdomains are on HTTP ?

Also, if you think its because of Domain Mapping plugin then please deactivate this plugin temporarily and then check if the error is gone or not.

Hope that helps! Feel free to post a reply if you need further assistance

    Best Regards,

    Sajid

Thanks for this . I have been doing more digging and I think this is actually a theme issue. I was able to get this to work with other themes – so you can consider this resolved. I’ll figure it out from here.
