[Hummingbird] Error in Asset Optimization

My Hummingbird doesn't detect any assets to be optimized - at all. Not even one is on the list after the scan, and I don't know how to fix that. i've already completely deleted it and started over, but I have the same issue.

    Hello Tony

    Sorry to hear that you are having issues. This is quite unusual. Do you have any other caching plugin?Or any minification functionality integrated on your theme? If not, it might also happen due to a plugin conflict.

    So, would you please run a conflict test? Please deactivate all plugins except this one and check if the problem gone. If so, then enable all plugins one by one and find which one is having conflict.

    You can find the flowchart here: https://premium.wpmudev.org/docs/getting-started/getting-support/#chapter-1

    If there is no conflict, would you please enable support access so that I can check? Please follow this article to enable support access: https://premium.wpmudev.org/docs/getting-started/getting-support/#chapter-5

    Have a nice day!

    Cheers,
    Ash

    Hi Ash,

    Thank you for your help. I was able to determine that it was Optima Express that caused the issue, but unfortunately, that's a necessity for this site. I will be contacting them to see if they can play nice.
    Is there somewhere I can look to find specifically what is causing that plugin to break Hummingbird's Asset Optimization?

    Also, I've found that Hummingbird breaks the Pro theme page editor. It requires a preview in order to operate, and it runs into an error every time. I have to disable the plugin when I want to edit a page :disappointed:

    I will enable support access on the site.

    Hello Tony

    Glad to know you find out the conflict.

    Is there somewhere I can look to find specifically what is causing that plugin to break Hummingbird's Asset Optimization?

    This is actually difficult to find out without extensive troubleshooting. Please ask them if they have anything related to minification.

    Also, I've found that Hummingbird breaks the Pro theme page editor. It requires a preview in order to operate, and it runs into an error every time. I have to disable the plugin when I want to edit a page

    This is kinda possible if they have any function that detects the builder page. If you know the function, then we may try something like the following algorithm:

    if( is_builder_page() )
    {
        disable_minifcation_and_cache();
    }

    So, please let us know if they have any such function. Have a nice day!

    Cheers,
    Ash
