Hummingbird Cache problem Google Page Speed

I have a question. We have multiple sites running with Hummingbird. We are trying to get Google Page Speed as close to 100 as possible. On every site we get this problem:

We get it both in CSS and JS. Can you please tell us how to dix it and how it works. Please respond to this e-mailadres:

Thanks in advance

    Hi Martijn,

I can't see the screenshot attached with your reply. If you are having trouble attaching images, can you please upload that image to any image hosting site like and share us the download link? We can get better idea about the issue if we can see the screenshot.

But from your description, I assume, this file is being shown in "Render Blocking Resources" section. If yes, then can you try putting your CSS and JS assets (which are being minified) to the footer from Hummingbird minification settings? WP Hummingbird minification puts minified files inside the wp-hummingbird-cache and as those assets are enqueued in the header, cache file is also enqueued in header and that's why, sometimes Hummingbird gives this suggestion.

If you want to get detailed idea regarding how render-blocking resources work and how to fix that, you can check this reply:

I believe, this will help. If it doesn't resolve your issue, please let us know. We will be glad to investigate further.

    Have a nice day. Cheers!

    Hello Rupok,

I tried a lot of things already. This is the screenshot:
If i put everything to the footer, combine and minify everything en put the fonts inline my css loads to late. But if i try anything else google page speed will say something about above the fold. (see picture).
I dont really have the technical skills to do everything you told on that reply.

    Hi Martijn,

I just checked your site for both mobile and desktop in Google PageSpeed Tool and the result is 91 for mobile, and 97 for desktop, which is pretty insane and very hard to achieve. Great job on this site.

Unlike your screenshot, I could see only one Hummingbird cache files in render blocking resources section. Please check the attached screenshot for reference.

So, I think you have already found a way to eliminate these Hummingbird Caching files from render blocking area because in your screenshot, there are couple of resources showing but in my test, I got only one. Can you please try the same way for the shown asset in the screenshot above? http://dai************.com/…che/db9b334dd5f06e779bd06a0e950e4691.css
Or if you share how you removed other warnings, that will help other users having the same type of issue in future. And we can also guide you better in removing the only asset showing in PageSpeed tool.

Please send us as much details as possible. I'm looking forward to hearing from you and resolving this issue as soon as possible.

    Have a nice day. Cheers!
