[Hummingbird] Caching Issue with Social Login Plugin (YITH)

I found out Social Login (Login with Facebook) is not working while Hummingbird caching is on. I had to deactivate it to let user login with Facebook. I contacted YITH side and their response was:

"you should contact the cache plugin developer and ask them how you can exclude
wp-content/plugins/yith-woocommerce-social-login-premium/includes/hybridauth/ and the cookie ywsl_wp_session from their cache system"

I need guides on how to achieve that.

    Hi, iamJayChong!

Hope you are doing great and thanks for pointing this up

I will inform my teammates from SLS about this so they can have a closer look at it and inform you about the guides to follow in order to achieve this. You’ll be notified by email as soon as they post on this ticket but please note that SLS response can take more time than usual staff response because they deal with a huge amount of complex issues on a daily basis.

Thanks for your patience on this

    KInd regards,
    Violeta

    Hey iamJayChong

Hope you are well, unfortunately there are on way to exclude files, but yeah we have a way for cookie, and I hope excluding cookie will be enough here.

By the way, I made a small fix in our plugin to achieve this, so you also need to change one single file and apply additional code to fix this issue. here's the steps:

1: Please replace this file: wp-content/plugins/wp-hummingbird/core/modules/class-module-page-cache.php with attached one, make sure you unzipped it first.
2: In the wp-content folder create mu-plugins folder if it's already not exist.
3: Download this gist file https://gist.github.com/wpmudev-sls/18836b74acc14ea75edda525420f4502, unzip it, copy the php file and upload it to the mu-plugins folder.
4: Clear all cache and check

If above steps not fix the issue, let me know here, I'll check what can we do. And make sure you sent your site login details and as well as FTP details through our secure contact from: https://premium.wpmudev.org/contact/#i-have-a-different-question
