[Hummingbird] Can't Combine Files

I'm using https2 so the file merge feature is no longer available in Hummingbird. I still have Javascripts and stylesheets that are slowing down my website. Is there a workaround to fix these issues?

    Hello Bill

    Hope you're doing well!

I'm afraid the "Combine" option is deactivated if the HTTP 2 protocol is detected. The HTTP 2 load all the detected CSS and JS files at once, so combining files, if files are not located on a current page, may harm site's loading speed. Let me quote our developer in here:

Combining on HTTP/2 does not yield any benefits and just uses up server resources for the task.

To improve loading speed you can do is to move the JS files into the Footer position and select Defer option. This will load JS after all the CSS files are loaded.

    Hope this helps!

    Cheers,
    Nastia
