[Hummingbird] Fatal Error

My site was down and after contacting the hosting company the found issues with Hummingbird and Snapshot.

"We ran a health check on the server and it returned this fatal error linked back to your theme:

PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function get_header() in /www/wp-includes/theme-compat/embed.php:13 Stack trace: #0 {main} thrown in /www/wp-includes/theme-compat/embed.php on line 13 1 hour(s) ago. We also uncovered a handful of slow errors stemming from the wp-hummingbird and snapshot plugins. We would recommend updating these plugins (and others) to the most updated version and see if that helps. "

These plugins were already updated so I ended up deactivating them and the site came back up.

Are there any known issues with either causing the fatal error?

Thanks, Hasan

    Hello Hasan

There is no such known issue with hummingbird and snapshot. Would you please let me know about the error? When do you get the error? After activating the hummingbird or snapshot plugin? Do you need to visit any specific page?

Also, would you please send me your admin login and cPanel details so that I can check?

You can send me privately in the following format:

    1. Please go to https://premium.wpmudev.org/contact/#i-have-a-different-question

    2. Select “I have a different question” if not selected

    3. In subject line put “Attn-Ashok” (this will ensure that the email is assigned to me)

    4. Provide the wanted details.

    5. Add the thread link in the message so that I can track.

    Have a nice day!

    Cheers,

    Ash

    Hi there

Thanks for sending details. I was logged in and then I enabled Hummingbird plugin, waited some time, visited the site in three browsers and I didn’t see any fatal error. Here is a screencast: http://recordit.co/yFAOTmtM7x

Would you please check and let me know if I missed any step? Or how I can replicate the error so that I can try to resolve it?

    I kept hummingbird deactivated.

    Have a nice day!

    Cheers,

    Ash
