    Hello kiks

I hope you are well today.

    From the Hummingbird Documentation https://premium.wpmudev.org/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/hummingbird/

Combine – Whenever possible, Hummingbird can combine smaller files together to reduce the number of requests made when a page is loaded. Less requests mean less waiting, and faster page speeds!

Minification engine is built in a way to respect WordPress dependencies for styles and scripts. That means that two or more files will be combined only when they have identical attributes otherwise they will be skipped. For example, if you choose to combine file 1, 2, 3 and 4, Minification engine will first try to combine file 1 and 2 and if that fails (due to dependencies described above) it will then try to combine file 2 and 3 and so forth.

The reason you're seeing all the https://hb.wpmucdn.com/www.orlandoescape.com/.... URLs is because Hummingbird did the above checks and found that there were a number of files that would not work together being combined into one large file. So, Hummingbird grouped them into compatible combined files. In your case, this ended up being 8 files.

Regarding the https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/.... files. Hummingbird cannot combine these files because they are hosted by a third-party. For Hummingbird to process them properly, they would have to be hosted local to your site. Trying to optimize these third-party assets would run the risk for failure because these remote calls are frequently updated.

I hope this clarifies a bit.

    Best regards,

    James Morris
