I am hardening my WordPress security right now. I have the SSL and Site Lock right now and not sure how useful they are.

One of the way I found out is renaming the prefix of the tables and moving the default location for login. My concern is, how this will affect my next WordPress update?

    Hi there @Luqman,

Hope you're well today and thanks for your question.

Be very careful renaming and changing prefixes of databases etc once your site is in use.

Most of the time it's actually better to focus attention and resources on the server, as if someone knows WordPress well, anything you do, someone will still find that it's a WordPress site.

I'd strongly recommend into tightening up your server, are you on shared hosting? If so, I'd strongly recommend a VPS or dedicated server, shared hostings are one of the biggest reasons for a site being hacked, as it's normally a attack on that sever rather than your specific site.

    Kind Regards
