I can't import my Upfront - Spirit theme

Hello,

I'm really struggling for a few days with my migration from a single site to my new multisite on Cloudways. Exporting and importing my main site https://baranovakova.com was easy since it's "just" a ThemeForest theme... but adding another site to the multisite is really a pain.

So I had my second install on http://baranovakova.com/svatba and it was running on different WordPress and different database. Now if I want to import that site with a Spirit theme to my new multisite, I just can't get the design I had before. It's still just showing the default Spirit design.

Can anybody help? Please.

    Hey TadeasKula,

Hope you're doing well today

I've moved this thread to our support forum as the question is related to Spirit theme and Members forums don't guarantee support staff response.

First thing you should note is that you shouldn't have single WP installation on same subfolder as the one you're setting your subsite for.
So if you're looking to have baranovakova.com/svatba subsite but you already have single installation on that path you will face some issues.

About the transfer, can you give us some more info about the steps you did to move that site as a part of your network?

Upfront themes will save the changes inside Database so you will need to transfer your single site database tables in your multisite DB in order to get the same look, did you do that part?

    Best regards,
    Predrag

    Thanks Predrag Dubajic,

I'm now running site on https://svatba.baranovakova.com

So now I've done a standart WordPress export and import and also a database export and import like is described here: https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/move-wordpress-site-multisite-network/

Now it seems good, but upfront builder is not working so I can't edit anything? Even when I edit main site to: https://svatba.baranovakova.com/ And also on PC version, it shows both structure for PC and mobile.

For quicker solution I granted a support access so you can see what's happening.

    Hi TadeasKula,

Thanks for granting access, I had a look at your site and noticed that when trying to start UF dev editor there are console errors regarding rocket.js file.

I'm not much familiar with this but it seems to be coming from your server caching or minification.

Can you try disabling CDN and caching on your site and see if editor is loading after that?

And also on PC version, it shows both structure for PC and mobile.

You are referring to the second image part in your header, is that correct?
It would be best focusing on getting UF editor to work and then we can check from there what's causing this issue.

    Best regards,
    Predrag
