Pro Site setup

Hello.
I did install plugin Pro Sites in to my testing site for understand it setings and how this plugin works. Unfortunately I have a funny feeling either plugin not work properly or something is not properly in my settings.
Could you tell me is any tutorials of Pro Sites plugin? I'd like read them first before go forward.

    I checked your website, and if I'm not mistaken, the settings do look fine. Could you please explain further what exact issue you are facing? I could see you are using Upfront, you might have to add custom CSS if you are looking to style the pro-sites page. You could switch to a default WordPress theme, and check whether the plugin functions without any issue.

    Thank you for your quick support!
    I have been busy last few days but now I am back and try to explain what confusing me. Step by step.
    Before start, I want to say, I using sandbox emails and sandbox PayPal.
    First, I go into http://www.mysite.ru/pro-site as new customer. Write in all requested info and click Reserve your site.

    After that there open payment options and I chose PayPal and then I have forwarded to the PayPal payment system. After payment done, I can log in new site as new customer what I exactly doing.

    And now I start feeling freezing.
    1. When I log in as new customer, I have got page with Pro Site pricing tables with notice on top - There are pending changes to ypur account. This message will dissapear once these pending changes are completed.

    What are those changes and who must completed them and where?
    2. Then I login out and login back as Administrator. Going to Dashboard -> Sites and find, than new site isn't in that plan, as new customer payed for. For example, there are not "GOLD" level in column Pro Site, but "Manage".

    Why new site not automatically turned into Gold level? Does administrator must to do this manually all the time? It is little be strange, or I can't understand something?

    This is happening because, the payments aren't being applied, or getting registered. I tested with checking out through PayPal but it seems like the payment isn't being processed properly, and hence the sites aren't getting assigned the Gold level. Could you please make sure that you have entered your IPN URL in your PayPal profile located here:

    Please make sure whether this is the same case for Stripe too, you'll have to enter the webhook url, as shown in the Stripe payment gateway settings page, as seen here:

    Enter Webhook url in this page: https://dashboard.stripe.com/account/webhooks

    Please check, and confirm whether you have entered these URLs correctly, so that we could give a closer look at this issue. Please let us know how that goes, have a nice day. :slight_smile:

    Helllo!

    I have done as you told. Entered my IPN URL in my PayPal profile Sandbox. I have done this before, but possibility something get wrong.

    Now Pro Sites subscription works.

    Only one question.

    When subscription is done, must wait 24 hours till come back answer from PayPal and paiment finishing, subscription accept automatically. Is it Ok? Or to long?

    Hi DumnoniiDesign,

    24 hours for confirmation from PayPal is not normal. PayPal delays sometimes, but that's a very rare thing. Can you please switch the gateway to live and check if the issue stays? If yes, can you please talk to PayPal support regarding this and let us know what they say about it?

    Hi DumnoniiDesign,

    For getting PayPal API credentials, you will need to have PayPal Business Account. To know how to get those credentials, you can check these pages: https://developer.paypal.com/docs/classic/api/apiCredentials/

    You can also enable PayPal Pro if you want. PayPal Website Payments Pro 3.0 allows you to seemlessly accept credit cards on your site, and gives you the most professional look with a widely accepted payment method. But in that case, you will need to signup (and pay the monthly fees) for PayPal Website Payments Pro. This is not mandatory and totally up to you.
