I downloaded the files, which files do I upload. It's not clear which is the actual plugin

    Hi Martin,

    Hope you're well?

The files are provided as a zip package, this can then be uploaded and installed via the wordpress plugin upload page

Dashboard > plugins > add new > upload

It sounds like your browser (possibly you are using safari) has automatically uncompressed the zip package as it downloaded. You can change this default behaviour by editing the settings of the browser.

    Open Safari
    Open the Preferences menu:
In Mac OS X: Click Safari > Preferences
In Windows: Click Edit or Settings (Image) > Preferences
In the window that opens, click General
Remove the check from the box beside "Open 'safe' files after downloading"
    Download the file again

Alternatively, you can upload the entire folder 'google-analytics-async' to your /wp-content/plugins folder using FTP.

    Hope this helps
