I have a Multi-Site Installation that was originally set-up

I have a Multi-Site Installation that was originally set-up as a sub-domain site. I want to change it to subdirectory. I have found a few different types of instructions on how to do it, including the .htaccess file. The problem is that I am running IIS 7.5 and need the web.config equivalent. Is there any way you can help or point me in the right direction?

It's going to be extremely difficult to change an existing site. it's a bit easier going from subfolder to subdomain, than subdomain to subfolder. but is a lot of messing. DB changes, file changes etc.

It will probably be easier to install a fresh new multisite on your IIS. once you've created the multisite.

Use the snapshot plugin to backup your original sites content/files, then install snapshot on your new wp multisite and follow the migrate instructions for recovering the back up to your new site. https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/snapshot/#usage

    Hope this helps
