I have a website that has a lot of custom code. It is built

Hello,

I have a website that has a lot of custom code. It is built on a Wordpress platform, and uses multisite for multilingual.

On the french homepage in the portfolio section, I want to change the link to go directly to the company's website rather than have the popup display information. See the example here; http://realventures.com/fre/#portfolio.

I want to use if ( is_page () ) to change the link only for the french site. I have changed the link successfully to point to the companies website, but when I change this link I see the correct url when I hover over each image, but when I click nothing happens. I can right click and choose 'open link in new tab' and it opens fine, but most users will not realize this.

The current code [the one I am trying to edit] is

<a href="#company-<?php echo $item['id'];?>" class="<?php echo $item['sectors']; ?> <?php echo $position = ( $position == 'up' ? 'down' : 'up' );  ?>" target="_blank">

<span class="pf-logo logo"><span><img src="<?php echo $item['company']['logo']; ?>" alt="" /></span></span>
<span class="pf-logo profile"><span><img src="<?php echo $item['author']['image']; ?>" alt="" /></span></span>
...

and I want to change the href it to

<a href="<?php echo $item['company']['link'];?>" class="<?php echo $item['sectors']; ?> <?php echo $position = ( $position == 'up' ? 'down' : 'up' );  ?>" target="_blank">

<span class="pf-logo logo"><span><img src="<?php echo $item['company']['logo']; ?>" alt="" /></span></span>
<span class="pf-logo profile"><span><img src="<?php echo $item['author']['image']; ?>" alt="" /></span></span>
...

Even when I change the link manually to let's say http://google.ca, it still reads that google is the proper link, but can't click through to it (only right click and open link)

Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can make it work?

Thanks,
josh
