I have the coursepress theme installed. Logo?

I have the coursepress theme installed. How can I change the blog title for a logo? (on the top left)

I tried “Customize” but there are no options

    Hello Ines,

    I hope you’re well today and thank you for you questions!

    The CoursePress theme by design doesn’t include logo image support so some small customization would be necessary.

    There are two ways to achieve this: one would require creation of a child theme and one would be a pure CSS solution. I think the latter one may be easier to apply so here’s how to do this.

    1. First, install the Simple Custom CSS plugin to be able to easily add the custom CSS code that will survive any theme updates:

    2. Upload your logo image to the site and

    – note down image dimensions

    – copy image URL (make sure that you copied image URL and not an “attachment page” URL from Media Library

    3. Add this code to “Appearance -> Custom CSS” custom css text box:

    .site-branding a {
    background:url('IMAGE_URL') center center no-repeat;

    Make sure that you replaced

    IMAGE_URL with an URL of your logo image

    X with image width value in pixels

    Y with image height value in pixels

    Let me know if it worked for you, please!

    Best regards,
