I have the IP check turned on for my website so that users cannot vote multiple times.
When a user loads the page, the thumb icon is green. If they vote, the thumb turns grey and the vote talley increments up.
If the user refreshes the page, the thumb turns green again. When the user tries to vote again, the thumb talleys up but the vote count does not increase because IP check blocks it, as designed.
My problem is that my users are all complaining because they see the green thumb and think they should be able to vote again. When it turns gray and in doesn't increase the vote count, they get pissed and complain and lose confidence in the system.
I would like you to make the plugin work so that thumb is gray when the page loads if a vote was detected for that post. This would require a vote IP check on page load instead of on vote submission.
I think this would cut down on a lot of the problems that my users are encountering.
