I have WPMU site. I need users to have a link that manages their site on frontend.

I have wordpress wpmu, buddypress, and marketpress installed. I have a front end for marketpress and I would like my users to be able to click a link that manages their new site they created.

My current structure for WPMU is this.

http://www.sitename.com/UsersNewSite

The Manage my Site button needs to link here:

http://www.sitename.com/UsersNewSite/manage-site

I'm now sure how to add a dynamic link so that users can manage their site by site with it.

Please help!

    Hi Brandon!

    Welcome to the WPMUDEV Community!

    There are a couple of ways you can go about this.

    First, you could create a blog template using our plugin New Blog Templates, and create a page that contains the relevant info or link.

    Or you can use something like the custom code that adds a page to the menu list:

    ` function home_page_menu_args( $args ) {
    $args['show_home'] = true;
    return $args;
    }
    add_filter( 'wp_page_menu_args', 'home_page_menu_args' );`

    Once you have pasted this code, It should add “Home” as an option under the “Pages” widget on the Menu management page so the user can simply check it off as an item to add to their custom menu. Adjust to fit the page name you are wanting to add.

    A combination of both will probably be best, as you will need to alter the theme file to make sure it automatically shows up upon new blog creation.

    If I've missed the boat on this please let me know.

    Best

    Kimberly
