I just messed things up on my site. I tried to add some code to my functions.php file in “Upfront”, but I didn’t particularly like the result. When I deleted the code, I received the following error: ” Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end, expecting T_FUNCTION in /home/farout7/public_html/wp-content/themes/upfront/functions.php on line 282 “. Please Help!

    Hi there, Twedros!

I bet you accidentally deleted a little bit of the line above or below your edit. It’s happened to me a few times before, no big deal.

Is this the only function you’ve added to the functions.php for Scribe? If so, the easiest solution is to download the theme from the product page, then simply overwrite the functions.php on your server with the one from the fresh copy of the theme. It’ll fix it right up.

If you’ve made other edits, do you have a changelog of all the functions you’ve added? If so, copy those into the fresh functions file before you upload and overwrite the file currently on your server.

    Hope this helps!
