I live in Kenya and we only use the Kenyan Shilling. How do

Hi,

I live in Kenya and we only use the Kenyan Shilling. How do I set the currency of Affiliates to KSH and how do I ensure that setting persists through Affiliate plugin updates?

Thanks,

David

We already have Kenyan Shilling as a currency in the Affiliates plugin, but it's code is set to KES and not KSH, as we're following the international conventions about currencies: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_4217

To be clear the Affiliate plugin only support PayPal mass pay file format at this time. So the currency define is specific to PayPal per the setting added in Affiliate 3.1.5.4 (see image).

The link shown on the settings box goes to PayPal's listing. So whatever they can use is what we are providing per that setting

Thanks Air and Paul, I understand what you are saying. OK, here is the issue:

On http://chamabox.co.ke/wp-admin/admin.php?page=affiliatesadminsettings, there is no option for KES, and I understand paypal doesnt support it. However, we will be paying our affiliates using a local system called MPESA... I am not so concerned about the mass pay file... we wont use it for paypal anyways. My concern is, my affiliates are selling in Kenyan shillings and getting paid the same, so I would like the reports to show them their stats in KES. Where do I go to make the currency DISPLAY kes for affiliates when they are looking at their stats? Thanks!

To be clear, this is more for the affiliates to see their stats in KES.... i am not so concerned about the mass export file or paypal... we dont use paypal at all, i am simply using your plugin to track aff earnings, not for paypal's sake. Thanks again!
