I posted a question about trying to go to wp-login.php getting an error message

I posted a question about an error message I was getting when I tried to login to my site using mysitename.com/wp-login.php a 404 error would appear two very fine individuals were there ready to help. They asked me to reply via the thread and I could not, there was no way to respond below is a copy with no way to respond other than opening a new thread. can anyone show me how to respond the this below.Vaughan
I do not have any custom login pages and I do have a wp-login.php file.
