I recently installed Q&A plugin and there seem to be some problems with caching. I’ve set Q&A plugin so that it doesn’t allow ‘visitors’ to submit questions or answers. The problem is that after users log in, they still get the ‘visitor’ version of the page that doesn’t have the form for submitting questions or answers. I resolved this problem for one user by purging all caches from the server side, but the problem persist for other users.
I use W3TC and CloudFlare.
In the page cache settings within W3TC I have “Don’t cache pages for logged in users” checked. As far as I understand, this should prevent the problem, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. I also checked the “Don’t cache pages for following user roles” to include subscribers and other users that can post to Q&A.
Can you think of any other changes I should make? I don’t have database or object caching enabled.
