I want to hide signup sections when someone is signed up already

We're using the widget to give a "signup to our newsletter" at the bottom of the home page and in our blog sidebar. How do we hide these whole sections if the person is already subscribed as now it shows: "Unsubscribe" and we don't want that there.

For that, you can try to create {wordpress_folder}/wp-content/mu-plugins/wpmu_enewsletter_hide_widget_for_subscribed_users.php file via FTP and add the following code.

I added that in mu-plugins and still see it on both sites in sidebar. Attached.

Of course, because this solution works only for authorized users. Until a user isn't authorized we can't detect who is this, subscriber or no.
