I'm having a problem styling the sidebar link states

Hi, I'm having a problem styling the sidebar link states (normal, hover, current item) and padding between the menu items. I also don't understand why there is a (•) in front of the widget title.

    Hello @Rebecca Fonseca

    I hope you are well today and thanks for asking the question.

    Please use the following css in your stylesheet:

    .et_pb_widget_area li{
    list-style-type: none;
    }

    ul#menu-press li a:link, ul#menu-press li a:visited{
    //Add style for normal
    }

    ul#menu-press li a:hover{
    //Add style for hover
    }

    ul#menu-press li.current-menu-item a:link, ul#menu-press li.current-menu-item a:visited{
    //Add style for current item
    }

    Please let me know if you find this is helpful, or if you have any further questions.

    Cheers
    Ash

    Ahh in that case, try this:

    .et_pb_widget_area li{
    list-style-type: none;
    }

    .et_pb_widget_area a:link, ul#menu-press li a:visited{
    //Add style for normal
    }

    .et_pb_widget_area li a:hover{
    //Add style for hover
    }

    .et_pb_widget_area li.current-menu-item a:link, .et_pb_widget_area li.current-menu-item a:visited{
    //Add style for current item
    }

    It is difficult to suggest about styling the element that doesn't exist :slight_smile:

    So, if you have any issue after applying above code, please enable more widget in the sidebar and I will suggest you css after seeing that.

    Cheers
    Ash

    There is a little mistake in the code. Please remove the extra bracket, shown in screenshot.

    Also, remove extra semicolon. You have now:

    .et_pb_widget_area li a:hover {color: #CC0000; !important;}
    }

    It should be:

    .et_pb_widget_area li a:hover {color: #CC0000 !important;}

    Cheers
    Ash
