I'm running MarketPress and ProSites on WordPress

I'm running MarketPress and ProSites on WordPress MultiSite. I'm trying to figure out how to create a registration form for people to sign up for their own shop. Right now I only have a free monthly option with a percentage transaction fees, though I might change my mind later. I'm not sure if that is relevant at all to getting this up and running.

I watched this video, and it mentions a plugin needed for users to choose their password and shop URL, but it doesn't reference the name of the plugin.

    Hey there.

Generally you would just use the default WordPress signup form which is /wp-signup.php

If you wished to alternatively make your own custom signup for you could go for something like Gravity:

    http://www.gravityforms.com/

It's not a free plugin, it isn't ours but they let you create registration forms.

The form on Edublogs as seen in that video is basically based on the standard wp-signup.php form but customised slightly and using some of our plugins like this:

    https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/site-categories/

I hope this helps, please let me know if you require any further clarification or assistance.

    Have a fantastic day!

I think I'm a bit more keen to use a modified version of the default functionality, although I do have a developer license for Gravity forms already.

I'm a little confused though about the different types of users I'll have. I'll have the users who have their own sites/shops, and then I'll have the users who are shopping, but don't have a site. How do those users sign up, if the default signup is intended for those creating a shop?

Nevermind, I see now. I was already logged in so it was only showing the option to create a site. If I'm logged out it gives the option to create a site or just a regular user account.

OK, I think we're done here. Thank you for the help!
