I'm unable to update the dashboard

Hi, I am getting errors when trying to update either on dashboard login portal or on the site itself, can you help? Other plugins have updated. Thanks,

    Does this happen only to the site assigned with this ticket or does it happen on other sites you have dashboard on as well?

    Can you tell us what's the error you are seeing?

    Would you mind allowing support access so we can have a closer look at this?

    Hello Marc!

    I've noticed that you're using WPMU DEV Dashboard 4.0.3 which is pretty much outdated and I can confirm that around that release there were some issues related to "self update" of the plugin. Therefore, please try following steps:

    1. Being logged in to your WPMU DEV account here, please visit this page:
    https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/wpmu-dev-dashboard/

    2. Download WPMU DEV Dashboard .zip file

    3. extract (unpack) .zip archive to your local storate

    4. disable (but not delete) WPMU DEV Dashboard in your site's dashboard ("Plugins -> All plugins")

    5. access your site via FTP

    6. go to /wp-content/plugins/ folder

    7. delete /wpmudev-updates folder

    8. upload "wpmudev-updates" folder from an unpacked archive from your local drive to the "/wp-content/plugins" folder on your server

    9. enable plugin back via your site's dashboard

    This should update WPMU DEV Dashboard to the recent release without any data loss and I think from now on it should be able to update itself.
