updating .po and .mo files

Hi,
I'm using the membership2 plugin for one of my sites. I put in an .po file and .mo file for the translations into dutch.
I needed to change a few strings in the files. How can I overwrite the excisting files ?
On the server I've overwrtten them (/wp-content / plugins /membership /lanuages, but the old strings are still visible instead of the new ones. Am I doing something wrong ?

Thanks in advance.

with kind regards,

Aad

    Hi Aad ,

    Hope you're doing well today!

To translate Membership 2 Pro you can do this procedure:

    1) Download the .pot file located in "wp-content/plugins/membership/languages" (or from the translation section of the plugin's page)

    2) Using a .pot editor like Poedit add the translations for the strings.

    3) After save, Poedit will generate two files: .po and .mo

    4) Change the name of .mo file to include the country code. As you want it in Dutch, it should be:

    membership2-nl_NL.mo

    5) Upload the .mo file to "wp-content/plugins/membership/languages" folder.

If you already did this process and created the .mo file, make sure it have the country code in the name and Dutch is defined as the "Site Language" (Settings -> General).

I hope this information has been helpful. If I can help you in this or other questions, please let me know!

    Cheers, Luís
