I’m working on the My Legal Club website for Sean Rogers.

We have used the plugin Protect Content and wish to take payments using Stripe. I have inserted the Stripe API keys into the plugin
configuration as instructed.

In the Stripe.com instructions it says...
Step 1: Embed the Checkout

To get started, add the following code to your page.

<form action="" method="POST">
<script
src="https://checkout.stripe.com/checkout.js" class="stripe-button"
data-key="pk_test_GtBRJDZw37RDypEZuUChPc9L"
data-amount="2000"
data-name="Demo Site"
data-description="2 widgets ($20.00)"
data-image="/128x128.png">
</script>
</form>

I now need to know where I need to put the .js code? As Wordpress pages are different to HTML pages so it’s not as straight forward inserting code into a single page as that’s part of the Wordpress database. Can the code be
added to any page or does it need to be the page that takes payment?

Please advise.

Thanks
Jen

    Hello @Sean

    Welcome to WPMU community!

    I hope you are well today and thanks for asking the question.

    You don't need to insert this form, the plugin will generate the form for you. You just need to do to configure the gateway settings.

    In gateway window, when you select Configure, you will see a form to provide secret key and Publishable key, for both live and test version (note that, they are separate). Test version is not essential, but if you want to test the gateway without any real transaction, then you will need test mode and data for test mode.

    Check API Keys section here: https://stripe.com/docs/tutorials/dashboard

    Hope it helps :slight_smile: Please feel free to ask more question if you have any.

    Cheers
    Ash
