importing events from facebook into events+

A client has a lot of events they post on facebook. Is there a way to import these into events+ and have it automatically create events on the calendar in the events+ system?

    Hello Corn,

    I hope you're well today and thank you for your question!

    The Events+ plugin includes an "Import Facebook Events" add-on that you can use for this.

    To enable it, go to the "Events -> Settings -> Add-ons" page. You can then configure it on "Events -> Settings -> Facebook Events Import settings" page.

    You'll need to create Facebook app first and then you'll be able to periodically import events from your Facebook events to the plugin.

    It's not necessary for you to be the admin actually the user that will create the FB API, needs to be admin on a FB page. If you like you can ask the organization that you help manage to add you as an admin so that you can create the app and complete the settings. As long as the app id and the app secret is added correctly in the "Facebook Events import settings" and the domain is added in the facebook app it will work.

    FB APP settings panel needs to be configured with your domain. To add the app domain on the facebook App Settings page first click the "+Add Platform" tab. Select "Website". Enter your site URL there with http(s) and after saving that add the domain without the http(s).
