In magazine-view the pictures are not previewed

Hi,

today I have migrated the iwell.de to a new server and found out that images are not previewed. The theme is called "Magazine Basic" (could not chose in this support-ticket-form though, only "WPMU DEV Dashboard").

Most posts contain images, as in
http://iwell.de/2015/01/20/ios-8-verstecktes-worterbuch-von-iphone-ipad-erweitern-tipp/

but they are not displayed in article-view, not in "magazine" or "chronical" view.

I went through all settings that I could find (WP & Theme), but couldn't see a hint about how to deal with this.

Would be very happy about your help, thank you in advance for your time and support

Kind regards,
Sascha

    Hello Sascha,

The theme is called "Magazine Basic" (could not chose in this support-ticket-form though, only "WPMU DEV Dashboard").

You can only choose there our plugins and themes. This is theme from WordPress themes repository so it wont show there.

but they are not displayed in article-view, not in "magazine" or "chronical" view.

Could you explain what are those options? I'm checking your theme documentation and there is nothing about those views https://themes.bavotasan.com/documentation/
I can see all images well and they displaying as should (they have the same alignment settings in the editor).

    kind regards,
    Kasia

Sorry, I don't understand what you are telling me or how this would help me with my problem.

On http://iwell.de you see the articles / posts and they should have preview-images included.
The images are only shown after clicking on the article, e.g.
    http://iwell.de/2015/01/20/ios-8-verstecktes-worterbuch-von-iphone-ipad-erweitern-tipp/

I can see all images well and they displaying as should (they have the same alignment settings in the editor).

Yes, after clicking the article, but in the preview.

    Kind regards,
    Sascha

    Hello Sascha,

I'm sorry for confusion on my side - I didn't realize that you are referring to featured images when you wrote about preview.
I've checked your site and article you showed and none of this article has set featured image. You can add them when you are edititing article under Tags box

Images from content will not show on excerpt - themes are build to use featured images on pages where blogs posts are listed (so blog page, category page, tag page, archives).
You have to add featured image and then it will show on your home page in articles preview.

    kind regards,
    Kasia
