In the buddypress "Social" theme the "Notifications" page does not display conte

When the "Notifications" link is clicked the theme shows the left sidebar correctly but the right sidebar is in the center column while the Notifications content is absent. How can I correct this?

I'm using the Buddypress Social theme. I've included the normal page layout screenshot and then the screenshot of the layout that is supoposed to be the notification page. The link points to http://tvccpaddler.com/social/members/user_name/notifications/ As you can see it just moves my footer up to the left of right sidebar which has been moved to the middle column and doesn't display the notifications anywhere whether I click read or unread. If you need to get on the site I will send login credentials. Thanks for your help.

This is the issue raised due to new notification tab in BuddyPress version 1.9

I have reported this issue to theme developer to fix it in the Buddypress Social theme.

In the meanwhile to fix it in your theme just add following code on line number 41 in the theme file

bp-social/members/single/home.php
```
elseif ( bp_is_user_notifications() ) :
    bp_get_template_part( 'members/single/notifications' );
```

This seemed to be fixed and now displays correctly when "Notifications" is clicked but now I realize that when the individual message on the Notifications page is clicked the page goes blank and only displays:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function bp_core_mark_notifications_by_item_id() in /home/tvcctemp/public_html/social/wp-content/plugins/bbpress/includes/extend/buddypress/notifications.php on line 140

Please tell me what I can do.

The bbPress plugin is causing this issue.

It is reported the issue using bbPress version 2.5.1 on the following ticket.

It is fixed in bbPress version 2.5.2 and you can see patch for it on the following link.

http://bbpress.trac.wordpress.org/attachment/ticket/2495/2495.diff

Which version of bbPress are you using?

Try updating bbPress plugin to the latest version 2.5.2 which contains fix for it.

I checked your pastebin code and found you have pasted the code in the wrong place.

You should add the provided code on line number 41 in the theme file

bp-social/members/single/home.php

Just after the following code.
```
if ( bp_is_user_activity() || !bp_current_component() ) :
	locate_template( array( 'members/single/activity.php'  ), true );
```
