Is it possible to change the default blue colour

Is it possible to change the default blue colour on the “active” header buttons? And if so, where can I do that?

It’s more than possible, however I’m not sure I understand exactly what buttons you are referring to.

is this a plugin or theme?

I’d like to be able to change the blue colour (Ask A Question button) to red to match the site colours better.

hiya

add the following to your themes style.css
```
#qa-menu li {

background-color: #660000 !important;

color: #EE0000 !important;

}



#qa-menu #qa-current-url {

background-color: #FFFFFF !important;

color: #660000 !important;

}
```
the li is for the non-active buttons, the #qa-current-url is for the selected button.

you might also look at adding #qa-menu a:hover {} too for the hover changes when you mouse over it.

Tremendous! Thanks Vaughan, works like a dream.

If I may be so bold, could you also let me know how to change the text link colours (please see http://70.87.90.54/~secteros/questions/). I tried adding a:link etc., but then everything went back to blue (on the buttons).

I also got the a:hover working (woo-hoo!).

I can also see that I appear to have sone something wrong here, as I now get this error 4 times:

I have found out how to change the colour. I have used the following:
```
.question a:link, .question a:hover {

color: #660099;

text-decoration: none;

}
```
I haven’t found out what is causing the problem in line 1097 (above), but I will open another support ticket for this.
