Is it possible to link the subscribe by email and membership plugins?

I love the membership and subscribe by email plugins and I was wondering if there was any way to link the two together.

What I am trying to achieve is this: When a user registers/pays for a subscription, they are automatically added to the list in the subscribe by email plugin, thus allowing all the members to automatically receive emails whenever I post on the blog.

Essentially, I'm okay with doing this manually through the newsletter plugin, but it would be awfully nice to have this set to send automatically with the awesome subscribe by email plugin ... or have an option in the membership plugin to add a positive rule to subscribe to a mailing list ... or have an option in the newsletter plugin to automatically send out new blog posts. This last option may be the easiest since the newsletter and membership plugins are already linked.

Either way, if anyone knows how I can accomplish this, that would be great! If a staff member needs to set this as a feature request, that's cool too.

Hello there @niniane, I hope you're well today!

I'd be happy to submit a feature request for this, but could you please elaborate?
    How exactly would this work?
Some people might find it reasonable that excerpts from all posts should be sent to all members, thus encouraging them to buy a membership and be able to read the full post (which is what happens now if I'm not mistaken).
Others might argue that it's best if only members get access to excerpts of the content they have access to...

    Please advise,

Yes, I can elaborate. The membership plugin is great if you want to limit access to certain posts, but I want to use it to limit access to certain pages instead, where those pages have the protected content (e-course). That is why I would like emails to be automatically sent out when I add a blog post ... because I use my blog as a source of advertisement, of sorts.

Does that make more sense? Let me know if that's not what you needed to be clarified.

    Thanks @aristath!
