Is something missing from the installation instructions?

The installation instructions say this:

1. Download the Anti-Splog plugin file
2. Unzip the file into a folder on your hard drive
3. Upload the /anti-splog/ folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ folder on your site

Note: If you have an older version of the plugin installed in /mu-plugins/ please delete it.

4. Visit Network Admin -> Plugins and Network Activate it there.

5. Upload blog-suspended.php into the /wp-content/ folder on your site

But there is also a anti-splog.php file and no mention of where it's suppose to be.

So where is it supposed to go?

I had this same problem a week or so ago and did a bit of trial and error. I think I got it right as it's certainly working . I have the folder and file both uploaded to the /wp-content/mu-plugins folders like:

    /wp-content/mu-plugins/anti-splog/
    /wp-content/mu-plugins/anti-splog.php

@teckyhead, My understanding is that Automattic is trying to get rid of the mu-plugins directory as of 3.1. They want everything in the plugins subdirectory and for sitewide stuff to be Network Activated.

Thanks for the followup. Threw some rep points at you.
