    Hello David

Hope you are doing well today!

If you can't find the .htaccess file in your site's directoy, maybe it wasn't created yet.

Please navigate from your WordPress Dashboard to Settings > Permalinks and save changes. This should create th e.htaccess file.

Connect via FTP client or using File manger from your cPanel to your server, and open the folder with your site. Usualy it's public-html folder.

The .htaccess fle shoud be in the root of your WordPress installation, along with folders like wp-content, wp-include, wp-admin.
