JavaScript error in Magazine Theme?!

Hi all,

I have a problem with the latest BP Magazine Theme V.2 (downloaded today). I'm running a WPMU 2.9.2 and BP 1.2.3 Installation and the Theme is installed as parent/child. I just installed different themes and having now a big problem with the Magazine Themes navigation dropdown menues Magazine and Community: they working only one time and after I click out the menue they disappear and cannot get them to appear again without refresh the page.

From Firebug I get the following error:

uncaught exception: [Exception... "Could not convert JavaScript argument arg 0 [nsIDOMViewCSS.getComputedStyle]" nsresult: "0x80570009 (NS_ERROR_XPC_BAD_CONVERT_JS)" location: "JS frame :: :: anonymous :: line 12" data: no]

and its looping so depending on how long i leave the page open I get thousands of the same error messages.

I tried as well the BP Scholar Theme and everything works fine here with the menues and no js errors so far. I compared the headers of both themes and copied and pasted a bit around with that superfish and supersubs in the code, which made it better but still got looping errors at some point.

Any ideas how it come or whats causing it?!

Thanks for any help!!!

@dirkstieglitz: Please can you make sure you have clean code not a copy and pasted version as you mentioned you had done various things. Also if you are using the slideshow link up a category if you are not turn it off and see if you still get the errors.

    Dear Tammie,

thx for you very quick response.

I double checked that I'm using now the original theme files only again.

Very odd thing is that after two hours of having this problem It seemed to work fine now. But than not working on my my colleagues machine in the same way if failed before on mine.

Have not done anything so far with slideshows. No new post or page created only one new user, its like a clean fresh made installation. But will play with that settings.

    Havent said that before:

I'm on a Mac with 10.6.3 and testing on FF 3.6.3 and Safari 4.0.5. (As my colleagues does)

I will have at least one eye on it and come back after more testing on Windows as well.
