I have received their payments but there is no record of them Billing, nor did I receive notification of their payments for M2P

3. 11534 Jan 28 Aida Torres cancelled but she is still showing as a $2/mo subscribed member. No notification of her cancellation

4. Feb 1 - saxifrage received third email saying her membership has ended
Feb 3 - NCAMP91 received second email saying membership has ended.

5. PayPal Standard Gateway is blank for arrowLX Jan 5 but I received his money and he is showing as paid in Billing

6. Why do I have only 132 Members registered in M2P Billing but 177 Users all with M2P Membership Levels?

7. Failed Payments - I was never notified of the following. Please fix for future failed payments.

    Dear Bojan, I'm not sure what gives you the impression that I am having patience regarding these problems. I am NOT! This has gone on for THREE MONTHS!!!!

    Today, Feb 4, 2016 I received another notification that a membership has ended when it has not:

    "Hi EzeProphet,
    Your $5/mo Standard Membership at Christian Gays Connections has ended."

    Notification of the PayPal payment came out at 5:08 AM
    Notification from M2P that his membership has ended came out at 6:14 AM and again at 7:14 am

    And now you can add two new issues.

    Feb 3, 2016 - A member, Michael Lynam, upgraded his membership from $5/mo to $50/yr but the $5/mo subscription did not get cancelled on M2P or PayPal.

    Feb 4, 2016 - Allan Whitrod's payment came through from PayPal at 6:20 AM but I was not notified by M2P, which is not surprising since this guy did not even get registered in Users or Members last month when he signed up and made his first payment.

    How does your company have the nerve to put out a PAID plugin with so many bugs!!!! On my site alone I have now listed TEN separate and distinct issues.

    Please be advised that today I will send out more bad reviews on this plugin, and I will continue to send out more every day until all issues are resolved.

    I am working on Invoice 11756, a payment on Jan 22 with no Member name. I found the member name from PayPal records but had no record of him in Users or Members.

    I created User Tim Gordon in PHPMyAdmin and added him to M2P Members at $2/mo level.
    His subscription ID is 12441
    I created an invoice but now I don't know how to attach it to his Account as Invoice 11756.
    Also there is no payment gateway specified for this user.

    Next payment due in a couple of days. Would like to have this resolved before it is to come out.
    Can you please tell me
    1. how to attach this user to Invoice 11756
    2. how do I specify payment gateway

    Hey Mary,

    I've talked to our developer and you should be able to achieve that by running the following query in your database

    UPDATE wp_posts SET post_author=100 WHERE ID=11756;
    UPDATE wp_postmeta SET meta_value=100 WHERE post_id=11756 AND meta_key='user_id';

    where 100 = user_id and 11756 = invoice_id.

    Regarding specifying gateway this is done automatically when the invoice is paid. The invoice gateway simply reflects the gateway that was used to pay the invoice, it has no function other than information for the admin.

    Thank you. Sorry but I need more help with this. I have changed this member to have User ID#484.

    His subscription ID# is 12466.
    Date of his payment of $2/mo is Jan 22, 2016.

    Please give more detailed instructions as to how I attach Invoice ID# 11756-1 to this member. Thank you.

    Hey Mary,

    Access phpmyadmin and go to SQL tab (see screenshot), once there simply run the following query:

    UPDATE wp_posts SET post_author=484 WHERE ID=11756;
    UPDATE wp_postmeta SET meta_value=484 WHERE post_id=11756 AND meta_key='user_id';

    After you do check the invoice again in your admin, it should be attached to user with ID 484.

    I've got a problem. Today I received notification of a failed payment for Tim Gordon. This is the guy who wasn't registered so I added him to users and then linked the invoice to him. I must have done something wrong. Can you please fix before PayPal tries to submit it again on Feb 25.

    thanks for providing login details for us, this really helps :slight_smile:

    I just reviewed the invoice/member you mentioned (tim) and on WP/M2 side it all looks correct! The next payment attempt should work from what I saw.

    Just to clarify, the failed payment on 22-Feb does not relate to problems in M2. It simply means, that tim did not have sufficient funds on his PayPal account to process the automatic payment. PayPal will try to collect the money again on 25-Feb. On this day you should see a log entry on the M2 > Billing > Transaction Logs page.

    If you do not see a transaction log for Tim by end of 25-Feb then please check your IPN History in PayPal ( and find out
    A) Is there a IPN message that was sent to your site and failed? Or
    B) There is no IPN message at all for Tims payment?

    Hi Tyler,

    You were white-listed in cPHulk on the server but still blocked by Wordfence for the website. I’ve unlocked the block now. You should be good.

    New issues:

    This morning I received 6 subscription payments.

    Of those 6 subscriptions my Billing page is telling me that four were not paid, specifically
    #2770-1 Les should be #2770-4
    #2816-1 catherine60 should be #2816-4
    #3105-1 kconn1979 should be #3105-4
    #3252-1 pr62 should be #3252-4

    They were also sent TWO EMAILS EACH, one at 6:11 AM and one at 7:11 AM saying that their membership has ended.

    Also, Tim Gordon #11756-1 (should be #11756-2), whose payment failed yesterday, received an email saying his membership has ended, but PayPal stated that they would try again to process the payment on Feb 25. Can’t we give a grace period to allow people to pay - perhaps 10 days before sending out email that membership has ended?

    The other thing to note is that I did not receive ANY notifications of payment from PayPal so I have sent them the following email:

    "I have been receiving payments and notifications of payments for many years so I'm sure that my IPN is set up correctly. Lately I am not receiving notifications of payments, nor is the Membership 2 Pro plugin on my website.

    This morning I received 6 subscription payments. I was NOT notified of any of them, and four were not recorded on my website (WPMU Membership 2 Pro plugin), prompting a cancellation email to be sent out to my members.

    Can you please investigate and resolve this issue ASAP."

    Tyler responded in one of your other threads here with the patched version that should fix the issue that is causing your memberships to expire early.

    As for giving grace period I'll definitely forward that to our developer so we can get some feedback on that one :slight_smile:
