Looking for information on developer support for adding features to Appointments plus

After setting up appointments plus for our booking system, we came across the fact that it is missing key functions that we had thought would have been part of the software that is not. What I am looking for is the ability to sell packages of appointments.....E.G

Our plan was to use membership and appointments plus to accomplish this by creating individual product pages out of the make an appointment pages and restricting how many appointments could be booked at a time.....with the appointments not booked on payment being able to be booked at a later date with users being able to see what appointments remain and send appropriate emails to the user notifying when their account are running low on appointments....

below is the basis for the system

Monthly Subscription (the best value):
online tutoring mindlaunch 2 Sessions/Month for $180.00
online tutoring mindlaunch 5 Sessions/Month for $400.00
online tutoring mindlaunch 10 Sessions/Month for $750.00
– Subscription rules: Minimum of 3 month commitment, cancel any time after; unused sessions do not carry over to next month; sessions can be used for any subject. unused sessions not refundable

Packages:
online tutoring mindlaunch 1 Session for $99.00
online tutoring mindlaunch 5 Sessions for $450.00
online tutoring mindlaunch 10 Sessions for $850.00
online tutoring mindlaunch 20 Sessions for $1600.00
– Package rules: All packages must be used within a six month term; sessions can be used for any subject.

    Hi, Elaine!

We can do most of this with a little creative problem solving, Membership, and MarketPress integration.

creating individual product pages out of the make an appointment pages

This is the easiest part, we can do this with MarketPress integration, that allows users to put appointments into a shopping cart.

restricting how many appointments could be booked at a time

This we could do with inventory limits, and product pages for each membership level, which would then be protected with URL groups. (so members of Subscription A would only see a product page with a limit of two appointments, etc.)

with the appointments not booked on payment being able to be booked at a later date with users being able to see what appointments remain and send appropriate emails to the user notifying when their account are running low on appointments....

This part is a bit more complicated, and may be out of scope for what we can do in the support forum, since it would take quite a bit of complex, custom code. We try to limit the custom solutions we give here to issues that will benefit the largest number of our members, and this is a pretty specific case. We do have a fantastic Jobs Board where you could find a great indie contractor who could whip this up for you.

Subscription rules: Minimum of 3 month commitment, cancel any time after; unused sessions do not carry over to next month; sessions can be used for any subject. unused sessions not refundable

You can do this by making these subscriptions finite for three months paid at once, or recurring for monthly payments, with a limit of three months.

Package rules: All packages must be used within a six month term; sessions can be used for any subject.

I'd create a new subscription for the Packages, as well, and set the membership term to finite/six months. Once that term expires, members will get a few reminder emails (if you choose to send them) and then access will be revoked automagically.

    I hope this helps, Elaine!
