I was working on my Website then I made a mistake of installing the "W3 Total Cache" then my screen went white with a 500 internal error. I did not know I was not supposed to install anything when I have WPMU DEV. Is it possible if you would assist me. I was using Firefox on a Computer. I am so sorry.

    Hello Nyasha,

You don't have a reason to be sorry here - it sometimes happens that some plugins are not working correctly on sites and before installing and checking there is no other way to find out about that.

I did not know I was not supposed to install anything when I have WPMU DEV.

You can install other plugins and themes when you have WPMU DEV subscription and you are using our plugins.

Broken plugins can happen - W3 Total cache can be troublesome plugin - if you need cache plugin I can recommend WP Super Cache (in my opinion its easier to use, more user friendly).

How to get your site working again - you will need FTP access to your site (you can get it from your hosting provider). Then you will need to use FTP client like Filezilla and connect with your FTP account.
Then you need to navigate to wp-content/plugins/ and find W3 Total cache directory w3-total-cache and rename it to w3-total-cache-OLD - this should disable that plugin.
If disabling will not work and you will see strange errors regarding missing files from w3 total cache please follow full instruction on how to remove that plugin

Let me know if you still need any further assistance here
