MailChimp Plugin Vanishes After Activation

The MailChimp Integration plugin vanishes after activating it on a multi-site install. It would say that the plugin activation has been successful. But when you look at the list of plugins, it's not there anymore, although it would still appear on the super-admin's list of plugin but not on the sub-site's admin's dashboard's plugin section. It's not even on any of the dashboard menu sections.

I re-installed the plugin twice and the results were the same. I am not seeing any error messages.
