Making Comments Plus plugin show up

Hi.

I’m trying to display the Comments plus on a site and haven’t had any luck getting it to show up.

I’m guessing this is a hooks thing maybe? I see mention of it but not where I should copy and paste into my theme.

I’d like them to show on both posts and page pages if possible.

    Hey there.

    It work with any theme that follows WordPress standards, however in those instances where it doesn’t then you’re right you can use hooks.

    You need to find your comments form in that theme and then put the following before:

    <?php do_action('comment_form_before');?>

    And then after:

    <?php do_action('comment_form_after');?>

    You can make those anything like only “comment_form” they just need match the settings page for hooks. Screenshot attached.

    Take care.

    Hey there.

    Does it typically keep the comments listed at the bottom? That’s what I’d like to have happen.

    By default the the form is at the bottom of the comments, it can vary on the theme.

    Those hooks go around your themes current form, is that what you did?

    Take care.
