Managed Backup to other location (AWS, Dropbox, etc)?

Can we save our full managed backups to another storage location such as AWS, Dropbox, FTP, etc? I didn't see this option anywhere in the settings.

    Hello Kevin,

I'm afraid this is not possible with managed backups - for managed backups only option is local server and our WPMU DEV cloud.

Other locations are possible with standard Snapshots - one you add in Snapshot -> Add New. In Destinations you can create new location like Google Drive, Dropbox and and then when creating Snapshot you can select that destination.

Let me know if you have more questions.

    kind regards,
    Kasia

No other questions except it would be nice to know the feature and update road map for Snapshot. The managed backup page still says "Beta" and certain things don't work as well as they should For example, despite selecting NO for Keep Local Archives, local backups are sometimes NOT removed after the zip is copied to the destination. There's no clear indicator as to why some remain and others are removed.) And user data is never included in a site move even when all tables are selected. Just seems like Snapshot dev started out great and has slowed to a crawl. Should we be looking for other solutions for backing up and especially for us: moving sites from one WP multisite (subdomain) instance to another? We spend a lot of time making sure our Snapshot backups are working properly and tweaking the site move process due to issues with Snapshot not working as expected. Either Snapshot gets some much needed updates or we need to focus on other solutions. Some guidance and direction is appreciated. Thanks for listening.

    Hello Kevin,

We are now testing new beta version of Snapshot, so soon we should see new release with improvements and bug fixes. Snapshot is actively developed - no worries about that.

despite selecting NO for Keep Local Archives, local backups are sometimes NOT removed after the zip is copied to the destination. There's no clear indicator as to why some remain and others are removed.) And user data is never included in a site move even when all tables are selected.

Have you reported this before - is there separate ticket for those? Because user data should be saved in snapshots and managed backups.
Would you mind allowing support access so we can have a closer look at this if you didn't create separate tickets for this issue?
To enable support access you can follow this guide here:

Should we be looking for other solutions for backing up and especially for us: moving sites from one WP multisite (subdomain) instance to another?

That can be done with Snapshots - moving subistes from one site to another. Is this also not working for you?

    kind regards,
    Kasia
