In the readme.txt included with the zip file it says: ‘The “Directory” plugin package comes with a default theme. It can be found
inside “directory/themes/default” directory. You can use it straight from the
plugin or if you want to customize it you can copy it to your “themes” directory
and do your customizations there.’ I see no way to do this and after many hours of trying and using the awkward forums seeking information I find that this feature was removed many months ago. In fact you have to copy the theme to the themes folder. Ok, I can live with that, simple oversight on updating the included readme.txt.
After uploading the theme to the theme directory I get an error :
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_VARIABLE in /home/sitterre/public_html/test/wp-content/themes/default/core/core.php on line 12
